We’re pleased to congratulate David Allen of Rutgers University on his new position as the Editor-Elect for Journal of Management! Chris Shook and Jim Combs of the Southern Management Association (SMA) had this to say about David’s accomplishments:
David brings an impeccable scholarly reputation to the JOM Editorship. He earned a Ph.D. from Georgia State University in 1999 and is currently on faculty in the School of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers University. He also is a Distinguished Research Environment Professor at Warwick Business School in the U.K. David has published 51 refereed journal articles, many of which have appeared in top-tier management journals. David brings significant editorial experience, having served on the editorial boards of nine journals including the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, and Personnel Psychology. He currently serves as the Senior Associate Editor of the Journal of Management. David’s experience as Senior Associate Editor gives him a very strong foundation to be Editor-in-Chief.
